Ike Kinswa State Park – A 454 acre camping park with over 46,000 feet of freshwater shoreline on the north side of Mayfield Lake

Mayfield Lake – FAs one of Washington’s largest freshwater lakes, fishing is near the top of the list for many visitors to Lake Mayfield. Beautiful Mayfield Lake is the reservoir behind Tacoma Power’s Mayfield Dam. This lake is very popular for many types of recreation year-round because its elevation fluctuates no more than ten feet during the year. Covering 2,250 acres at maximum elevation, Mayfield Lake creates an impressive 33.5-mile shoreline.

Klickitat Prairie Park – 32 acre park located adjacent to the Mossyrock Community Center, with a state of the art playground, public restrooms, creek access, community gardens and orchards.

Swofford Pond – Located 5 miles east of Mossyrock on Green Mountain Road at the foot of Green Mountain; this 216.5 acre pond is connects to the south shore of Riffe Lake via a spillway. Open all year round, it offers a good variety of fishing. Stocked with rainbow trout and channel catfish, it also contains brown trout, general bullhead, largemouth bass, yellow perch, crappie, and bluegill. There is an unimproved boat launch at the east end of the pond and no internal combustion engines are allowed.

Riffe Lake – Extending from Mossyrock to approximately 6 miles east of Morton, this man-made lake is over 11,325 acres and is a popular place fro trolling and bank fishing as well as water sports. Boat launches are available at Mossyrock Park, and Taidnapam Park both owned by Tacoma Power. The lake offers fishing for brown and Rainbow trout, large and small mouth bass, yellow perch crappie, bluegill, landlocked coho and Chinook salmon, as well as catfish. Riffe Lake is open year-round. Bank access is available on both sides near the dam and at the “fishing bridge” near Taidnapam Park. Call Tacoma Power fishing hotline at 888-502-8690 for more information.
