Ordinance 520 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE MOSSYROCK PLANNING COMMISSION and THE MOSSYROCK CITY COUNCIL, MOSSYROCK WA. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the MOSSYROCK, WASHINGTON, PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a public hearing on June 8, 2026 to receive public testimony on proposed amendments to Chapter 16 Animals and adding a section concerning livestock and poultry in the city limits. The Public Hearing will commence at 5:30 p.m. in the Mossyrock Community Center at 231 E. State Street, Mossyrock, WA. Following the hearing, the Planning Commission’s regularly scheduled business meeting will convene at 6:00 p.m. Interested parties are encouraged to check the City’s webpage for the meeting Agenda and other documents which will be posted at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. If you wish to receive a paper copy of the Agenda or other documents, contact Amy Edgington, City Clerk, at clerk@cityofmossyrock.com or (360)983-3300 and a copy will made for you to pick up at the cost of 15 cents/page. Comments may be heard in-person at the hearing or may be made in writing to the City Clerk, Amy Edgington at P.O. Box 96, Mossyrock, WA 98564, or by email at clerk@cityofmossyrock.com, written comments must be received no later than June 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in order to be considered by the Planning Commission.

City of Mossyrock– Public Meeting

The City of Mossyrock invited residents and interested parties to attend a public meeting regarding proposed upgrades to the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Project Overview:
The project will enhance the reliability, efficiency, and long-term operation of the existing wastewater treatment facility while reusing much of the current infrastructure. Key improvements include: Aeration system upgrades, UV disinfection system modernization and new prefabricated canopy

Purpose: Discuss the scope and impacts of the project and gather public input.

The City uses the Mayor/Council form of government. The Mayor is the administrator while the Council legislates, decides the budget with the Mayor’s and Treasurer’s input, and votes on all significant expenditures.

The monthly Council Meeting is the forum for updates on City actions, citizen input, Planning Commission recommendations, and Council deliberation. The Mayor and Council serve elected four-year terms and are nominally paid for the Council Meeting.

  

PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS

Planning Commission will be holding their meetings on the 2nd Monday of every month from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Meetings are held at the Mossyrock Community Center  219 E. State St.
