Notice of Public Hearing: 2021 City of Mossyrock Growth Management Directory Adoption and Lewis County Critical Area Ordinance No. 491 Adoption

The Mossyrock City Council will conduct a public hearing at which the below-referenced project will be considered. Interested community members are invited to attend this public hearing and to provide comments, either orally or in writing.

Project Description: The 2021 City of Mossyrock Growth Management Directory adoption and the Lewis County Critical Area Ordinance No. 491 adoption.

Hearing Date: Thursday, June 24, 2021                           Hearing Time: 6:00 PM

Hearing Location: Mossyrock Community Center.

Additional Information: The City Council agenda will be posted on the City’s website before the meeting. There are occasions when meetings may be postponed, or items removed from an agenda. It is therefore advised that you confirm that the meeting is going to be held and that this item is on the agenda. Upon reasonable notice to the City Clerk’s Office (360-983-3300), the City will make reasonable effort to accommodate those who need special assistance to attend the City Council meeting. Mossyrock Freedom Festival
Jul 3 – Jul 4 all-day


Join us on July 3rd and 4th to celebrate Independence Day. We will be having a Patriotic Parade on Saturday starting at 10 am, dress up in your best red, white and blue, bring your tractor and trailer decorated in your patriotic best. Application listed below.

Music by Decade Detour, Brother Rowe, Monty Ray, Sour Stripper, Patitude, Bent, Randy Hansen and more will be our music entertainment.

There will also be Mr. Tim Flynn, Magician. Mr. Tim Weible will be our skydiver opening up the ceremonies on Sunday at about noon before the American Flag Retirement Ceremony put on by Chief Morningstar and our local VFW and American Legion.

We will have bounce houses for the younger generation and other games like yard pong, lawn bowling and corn hole games for your entertainment.

Fireworks will be put on by Lewis County Fire District #3 on the 4th.

Looking to participate, contact maalblueberryfestival@ gmail.com if you would like to volunteer to help. It is a community effort to celebrate the 4th of July. Vendors can still apply, the more the merrier. Free entrance to the park, handicap parking at the main entrance, space limited and other parking available.
